Scrolling through social media a post “Betty’s Bunch” grabbed my attention, It told the story of a daughter visiting her Mum weekly and bringing her flowers. Unfortunately her mum passed away but she still continued taking flowers into the nursing home where her mum had lived and randomly handed them to the other residents. There are other examples of different people doing similar and how this small gesture can make a huge difference to someone’s day.
This got me thinking, could Care4all do something similar?
Care4all deliver in excess of 180 meals on wheels per day and to some of these people the only contact they receive each day is one of the drivers bringing their meal, so my thought was to send flowers to some of these people and hopefully it would make that day special for them.
The first bunch of flowers has been sent out today with the message
“from the people at Care4all who care”
Although we are very much in the early stages with this , We have already had a great response, but we strive to be able to offer this kind gesture weekly.
If you would like to be involved in this gesture please contact Care4all
Come on lets make a difference in 2020
